Hizb-ut-Tahrir has been banned in Bangladesh, the home ministry has announced on Friday 10/23/2009. Home Secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikdar said the government feared Hizb-ut-Tahrir posed a threat to peaceful life.

8 MILITANTS ARRESTED IN BANGLADESH

BANGLADESH ORFANAGE USED FOR TERROR

Bangladeshi authorities in Dhaka said, on Wednesday 03/25/2009, an orphanage run by a British Islamic Charity was being used as a training camp and arms factory for Islamic militants.
