CAUCASUS EMIRATE TO JOIN ISIS

caucasus2Extremist militants in Russia’s Caucasus, known also as the ‘ Caucasus Emirate ‘ have pledged their allegiance to the Islamic State ( Daesh ) in a voice recording released on YouTube on Sunday 06/21/2015 , they said militants in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria had all sworn loyalty to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. “Obeying the order of Allah … we are declaring our allegiance to Caliph Ibrahim ben Awwad ben Ibrahim al Badri al-Qoureishi al-Husseini for obedience and subordination,” the recording says, referring to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ( see also – Wane 0f Al-Qaeda ).

Daesh released its response in the form of another recording by spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani on Tuesday, welcoming the pledge of loyalty.

“We congratulate the soldiers of Islamic State in the Caucasus… we congratulate them for making allegiance to the Caliph. He accepts your allegiance and names Sheikh Abu Mohammad al-Qadari as (governor) of the Caucasus.”

Thousands of Russians, many from the Caucasus, have left their country to fight alongside the militant group, AFP reported. Some of the most senior ISIS operatives are from the Caucasus, veterans from the wars against Russia .  Kristina Presnyakova, for example, is a 25-year-old Russian female who had joined ISIS forces. She was included on the international wanted list. She traveled to Syria via Turkey in 2013 and received training at an ISIS camp.

Now the Islamic State is in the epicenter of a worldwide jihadi alliance  pushing away Al Qaeda and way more dangerous than Al Qaeda – The Caliphate is an aspiration for many young Muslims and the Islamic State will be the most dangerous concern of the world in the next coming two decades at least.
