FRENCH NATIONAL DAVID DRUGEON KILLED IN IRAQ

Airstrikes have eliminated a senior figure within the Islamic State group and an explosives expert with links to Al Qaeda, the Pentagon confirmed Tuesday 09/22/2015.
An airstrike killed French National David Drugeon near Aleppo, Syria, on 07/05/2015, Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook told reporters, on Tuesday 09/22/2015, that the Frenchman had linked up with the Khorassan Module, a network of veteran Al Qaeda operatives, and had been plotting attacks against western targets (see also – .Western Jihadists )
David Drugeon was a former Catholic who converted to Islam as a teen, changed his name to Daoud and had become a master bomb maker for the Khorasan Group that was working with Syria’s al-Qaeda wing Jabhat al-Nusra . As an explosives expert, he trained other extremists in Syria and sought to plan external attacks against Western targets,” Cook said.
Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook also told reporters, that a similar airstrikes launched on 09/10/2015 have killed Abu Bakr al Turkmani, an influential member of the Islamic State, near Tal-Afar, on the Iraqi Syrian border, once a stronghold of Al Qaeda in Iraq and the main junction of Jihadists streaming to Iraq a decade earlier.
Abu Bakr al Turkmani “was an ISIL administrative emir, he was part of Al Qaeda in Iraq before joining ISIS and was a close associate to multiple ISIS senior leaders in Iraq,” the press secretary explained.
