ISIS FAKED PASSPORTS – SERIOUS THREAT TO THE WEST

American authorities are warning that fighters belonging to the Islamic State group may have infiltrated US borders using authentic-looking passport printed by the group itself, according to a recently released intelligence report.

The worry about fake Syrian passports came into the spotlight following the attacks in Paris which killed 130 people which was claimed by the Islamic State. The report said. “The source stated fake Syrian passports can be obtained in Syria for $200 to $400 and that backdated passport stamps to be placed in the passport cost the same.”
** German figures showed that about 8% of the Syrian passports are facked.
