ISIS COMMANDER ABU-OMAR AL-SHISHANI. EVENTUALLY, DEAD !?

alshishaniAccording to initial reports, on Monday 12/28/2015 morning,  ISIS senior commander Abu-Omar al-Shishani (from Chechnya), 29, was captured by a joint Kurdish-American special operation in Northern Iraq near Kirkuk, together with al-Shishani the special force had been captured two field commanders.   The raid was carried out on Friday 12/25/2015 night. The reports were never confirmed by the Pentagon and were later proven wrong. .

Tarkhan Batirashvili came from humble beginnings and grew to become an impressive military commander. Tarkhan Batirashvili was enlisted to join Georgia’s U.S.-trained special forces, where he excelled until 2010, when he left the military under curious circumstances. Tarkhan Batirashvili was in prison for illegal possession of weapons. After his release in 2012 he went to Turkey and then to Syria where he reemerged as an ISIS commander under the name Abu-Omar al Shishani.

Abu-Omar al-Shishani for the first time reminded of itself in 2013: he was present at the video posted after the statement of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov about the fact that in Syria allegedly do not fight natives of the Chechen Republic. In broken Russian red-bearded terrorist has threatened «to kill with the help of Allah».

In may 2015 Batirashvili was in the list of four key ISIS leaders for whom the USA state Department announced a reward totaling $ 20 million. Company him in this list amounted to ‘ Abd al-Rahman Mustafa al-Kaduli, Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, and Tariq bin al-Tahar bin al falih al-awni al-Harzi.

Tarkhan Batirashvili was “[a] man with a modest background, sickly and impoverished before he went to Syria,” where he became “a great battlefield commander defying the world” in a “seemingly emulable rags-to-riches story.” Georgian Armed Forces officials and journalists who knew Batirashvili said. His military career was natural since his hometown Pankisi is small and isolated with little economic activity. The main choices Pankisi’s youth could choose from were to fight Russians, become farmers, join criminal gangs or join the military.

Abu-Omar al-Shishani is believed to be the recruiter and operational commander of the notorious ‘Jihadi John’, the isis executioner of 2014.
