TERROR WAVE IN ISRAEL AMIDE VP BIDEN’S VISIT

14 people were wounded, an American tourist stabbed to death, 3 Palestinian assailants were killed and one, a women, arrested, in a series of 4 shooting and stabbing attacks in Jerusalem and central Israel, on Tuesday 03/08/2016, that occurred amide the visit of USA VP Joe Biden in Israel.
* The first attempt was foiled in the morning when a women in East Jerusalem . a Palestinian woman tried to stab police officers in Jerusalem’s Hagai Street, which has seen several stabbings in the past few months. According to the police, the terrorist approached Border Police officers on Hagai Street, drew a knife from her back, and tried to stab them. The woman, a resident of East Jerusalem aged around 50, was shot and fatally wounded. No one else was hurt.
* The second event was at early noon in Petah Tikva, about 20 k”m North-East to Tel Aviv. A terrorist stabbed an ultra-Orthodox man who was entering a store on Baron Hirsch Street. Yonatan Ezriyahav, 39, a father of three, was caught by surprise when the terrorist, Abdel Rahman Radad, attacked him from behind with a knife, stabbing him in his upper body. While the terrorist was stabbing Ezriyahav, the store owner leapt from the entrance, grabbed the terrorist’s arm, and helped Ezriyahav then took the knife out his neck overtake the terrorist and killed him with his own knife. Abdel Rahman Radar, the Palestinian attacker, is from the village of Zawiya in the West Bank – not far from Qalqilya, where the Jaffa attacker Bashar Masalha was from. Tuesday was his 17th birthday. Bothe entered illegal illegally.
* The third attack happened an hour later. a terrorist opened fire with a Carl Gustav rifle at police officers operating on Salah e-Din Street near Herod’s Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, wounding one of them seriously. The terrorist then escaped, and as a police and Border Police force was pursuing him, he fired at them and seriously wounded another policeman.
The force returned fire and killed the terrorist. Security forces searched the area for a possible accomplice, and later in the evening raided the village of Issawiya.
* The fourth and more serious attack took place A 29-year-old tourist from the US, identified as Taylor Force, a student at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, was murdered and 11 others were wounded in a terror attack at the Jaffa Port area early Tuesday evening at about 18:00. The terrorist, Bashar Masalha, a 22-year-old Palestinian from Qalqilya, fled about a k”m along the Tel-Aviv Beach promenade before he was shot to death by police that arrived at the scene. The attack occurred simultaneously with a ceremony that took place few hundreds meters away in “Peres Center for Peace” when the American Vice President Joe Biden and former Israeli PM Shimon Peres shook hands and were about to speak to the audience . Bashar Masalha returned from Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, just a week earlier .
Police said that each of the attacks was carried out by “lone wolves” acting of their own accord.

On Wednesday 03/09/2016 morning a double shooting attack was carried out in Jerusalem. One on Egged bus took place on Golda Meir Boulevard in the northern Ramot neighborhood of the capital. Passengers reported seeing two men in a car who opened fire on the bus. A citizen, noticing the commotion, exited his car and ran towards the scene and fired his weapon. The terrorists fled the scene. Police began an extensive search for the terrorists and their vehicle.
Shortly following the bus attack, an additional shooting attack was reported near the New Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Paramedics at the scene treated a man in his 50s who was listed in critical condition with bullet wounds to his upper body. Two terrorists were shot and subdued by security forces. The car belonging to the terrorists responsible for the bus shooting was found at the scene on Paratroopers Street. Upon searching the vehicle police found weapons inside. Police suspect the same vehicle was used in both attacks.
** It is most likely that the chain of attacks is inspired by VP Joe Biden visit in Israel in order to catch international Media attention to the Palestinian cause while everything is focused on the other major problems of the Middle East, the wars, the refugees cri8sis and the Sunni-Shia confrontation and not to the ‘traditional” Palestinian “conflict” – not so long he main regional political occupation of the world and the scapegoat for its real problems .
