* Fatima Aberkane, born in 1961,already a mother of 7 and a grandmother living on a disability pension because of her asthma Fatima Aberkan became, in 2012, a follower and right hand of Khaled Zerkani, the chief recruiter of I.S.I.S in Western Europe. In 2013, joined Syria accompanied by her two daughters aged 14 and 16 years. Two of her sons Yassine Lachiri & Abdelmouneim Lachiri were already there, Abdelmouneim Lachiri was promoted as Emir (Chief) of a group of French and Belgian fighters Both will find death in January 2014. A third son Soufiane Alilo, also a recruiter in Zerkani’s networ, traveled to Syria in 2014. In a picture from Syria Fatima Aberkan was posing herself with a gun in his hand in the company of Malika El-Aroud.
In 07/2015 Fatima Aberkan had received a sentence eight years in prison. Both, she and Khaled Zerkani, had decided to appeal the decision. Her sentence was extended, on Thursday 04/14/2016, to 15 years imprisonment .
Naima Aberkane, her sister of Fatima, was sentenced to ten months suspended for having sent money to her sister in Syria. Her sentence was extended in the appeal to 4.5 years
— MARIA GRILLO —
* Maria Grillo is an Italian born convert to Islam, She travelled to Syria with her husband and his family in 10/2013. There, In Syria her minor daughter, Habiba, married, a month after her arrival, with an Algerian fighter. Maria Grillo returned to Belgium allegedly under the pressure of her husband who remained in Syria. Maria Grillo was arrested as part of Khaled Zerkani’s team and was sentenced in 07/2015 to 3 years.
Two weeks of her appeal, in summer 2015,she was arrested with her daughters and little girls as they were preparing to leave supposedly for a week stay in Antalya. In their luggage, police found a bag of dirty laundry and contraceptive pads for 17 months. She confessed having wanted to join her new husband in Syria. In her appeal, on Thursday 04/14/2016, her sentence was extended to five years in jail.
