COLOMBO BOMBER ABDUL LATHEIF JAMEL MOHAMED
* Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed studied Aerospace engineering at Kingston University in London, U.K,for just under a year from 2006. After leaving the UK, in 2007, he embarked upon a postgraduate course in Australia before settling in Sri Lanka.
Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed has family links to New Zealand, with confirmation both his sister and mother lived in Auckland.
Abdul Lathief Jameel‘s sister, Samsul Hidaya said in an interciew “My brother became deeply, deeply religious while he was in Australia,” she said.
Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed was one of the eight suicide bombers who commuted the Colombo Bombings on the morning of Sunday 04/21/2019. killing 59 people at the luxury Taj Samudra hotel in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo.
