11 POLICEMEN KILLED BY TALIBAN
Just a day after Brigadier Andrew MacKay, the last commander of the British troops in Afghanistan boasted, on 04/12/2008, that “there are real signs of progress inAFGHANISTAN”, 11 Afghan policemen were killed when Taliban insurgents have attacked their police post, on Sunday 04/13/2008, in, Arghandab district, in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar.In a separate incident, two more British members of the NATO-ISAF force have been killed in an explosion in southern Afghanistan. Hundreds of policemen have been killed by militants in Kandahar province during 2007.
